Nicolas Müller wins the Bang Slalom 2017

What a day of competition! The Bang Slalom 2017 took place in the Norwegian resort of Hemsedal, home of Nixon rider and co-host Mikkel Bang, on May 6th for the second edition of what has now become an annual gathering and celebration of everything that’s right about snowboarding.

While a lot can change over the course of 12 months, you’ll be pleased to hear the Bang Slalom hasn’t strayed – it’s still the fun snowboarding event that’s “open to everyone.” Riders from all levels were able to race the clock and ride alongside some of the biggest names in freestyle snowboarding, including Nicolas Muller, Terke Haakonsen, Mikey Renz, Mark Sollors, Victor Daviet, Sylvain Bourbousson, Wotjek Pawlusiak and many more.

At the end of the day, it was Nicolas Müller who finally managed to put his hands on the very special custom Nixon trophy watch, ahead of his good friend and legendary snowboarder Terje Haakonsen while Mikkel Bang snagged the final place on the podium.

Thanks to all the riders, crew, sponsors and hang arounds! Lean back and enjoy this little edit from all the fun, by Are Tallaksrud. For more pictures, click here.
